Multi-Purpose High-Temperature Self-Adhering Roofing Underlayment

WIP 250HT is a 62‑mil composite self‑adhering underlayment built for demanding roofing environments and temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). Designed for metal and mechanically fastened tile systems, it combines rubberized asphalt and an impermeable film for dual‑barrier moisture protection and offers up to 180 days of exposure during construction.

Product Details

WIP 250HT is a self-adhering composite underlayment that consists of fiberglass-reinforced rubberized asphalt laminated to an impermeable film layer to provide dual-barrier moisture protection. Withstanding temperatures of up to 250°F (121°C), WIP 250HT is ideal for use under metal and mechanically fastened tile roofs and provides unsurpassed protection from water penetration caused by wind-driven rain and ice dams. Split-release film provides easier, faster installation.  The concealed waterproofing system will not detract from the architectural aesthetics of the primary roofing system.

  • Protects the roof structure from water seepage caused by ice dams and wind-driven rains

  • Seals around roofing nails, staples and screws

  • Withstands temperatures of up to 250°F without degradation of the adhesive and allows up to 180 days exposure time
